11.45 – 12.30 Mr Gavin Cooper, Senior Practice Educator, Haematology UCLH ‘Nursing developments in Haematology’. He will discuss the changing role of a cancer nurse, how previously incurable diseases are now being treated and the latest cutting edge therapy: CAR-T cells. Keeping cancer nurses up to date in their knowledge is a challenge so he discusses an educational podcast series he has helped develop called ‘Bolus: education delivered stat’.
